The reader was just EXCELLENT!! It made listening to the book even a more enjoyable experience!!
This book in the series was just plain awful. The narrator was flat - a brick has more emotional inflection than this narrator, and the story itself just wasn't riveting. I hate to start something and not finish it, so I dragged myself through this as best I could, but I couldn't wait for this one to be done. Terrible, terrible, terrible.
Great book! However, I agree that the narrator is not appropriate for this one. She sounds much older than the characters.
I gave a three because the book itself is wonderful! The narrator however is atrocious. She gives fake british accents to random characters and is all around pretty dull.
Narrator pretty much ruined this series for me. Somehow managed to get through Hunger Games but couldn't even finish MockingJay once I heard the same narrator again...
I hated listening to this narrator read this book.
