Overview

Story takes place in Wales. A bit of fantasy, but nothing outlandish. Nar. is good; does voices, but nothing too hard or too different. Worth taking the time to read.

I got this to listen in the car when bringing my 3 children to and from school. They absolutely love it. The Narrators accent brings you right into the story. Another plus is that this book is an Accelerated Reader (AR) book for the school and they can earn extra reading points by taking a test on it. We can't wait for the 2nd book!

Jenny Nimmo lives in Wales with her husband and three children, where they run a residential summer school of art in an ancient watermill. Jenny has worked for the BBC as a photographic researcher. Her first novel was published in 1974.
