This story was wonderful and the narrators were great, too. However, I'm not sure it would have been so enjoyable if I hadn't listened to the other Tales of the Otori first.
This is an excellent follow-up / Prequel and stand alone to the Otori Series.....this depth of description makes you feel you are in feudal Japan...it truly bring into perspective a lot of the open questions from the main series.
