Poetry can be challenging, this collection is certainly that. At first I was concerned that I didn't know the author or name of the poem before it was read, but then decided that may actually strengthen the listening experience -- lets you concentrate on the poem rather than the poet. Obviously, I'm not very knowledgable of famous poets, though I certainly recognized a few I'd studied in school. I found that I liked some poems (and their readings) and didn't like others, but was overall very satisfied with the brain stretch.
I thought I liked poetry before I received this collection . . . OK there were maybe 2 or 3 that I enjoyed but usually it was more for the reading than the actual poetry. Skip it.
